Progressive Pay Scale Based on Experience. In early out early. 6am start.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Produce high quality precast concrete in accordance with specifications.

  • Stripping and setting up concrete forms.

  • Reading shop drawings and/or prints.

  • Maintain clean and safe work area (5S).

  • Will operate forklifts, bridge/gantry cranes, and production equipment as required.

  • Complete daily preventative maintenance tasks as assigned, including tool maintenance.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • Knowledge of concrete forming

  • Ability to read shop drawings and or prints

  • Heavy equipment operation

Physical Strain:

  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs on occasion

Mack Industries is looking for an experienced Precast Concrete Drafter to assist in the technical efforts necessary to support our engineering, sales, production and product development departments. The main focus of this position will be to develop detailed shop drawings of precast concrete products and preparing bid submittal packages for customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project shop drawings to present to the customer for approval

  • Completes submittals for customer approval

  • Engages directly with customers to ensure specifications and lead time are met

  • Works alongside sales and production teams contributing efforts where needed

  • Maintains project flow, following targets as established by the Engineering Manager

  • Communicates effectively with General Contractors, Field Personnel, Architects, Engineers and other departments to facilitate project outcomes and competition

  • Utilizes Stack IT and Auto-CAD to create detailed shop drawings for fabrication

  • Utilizes ERP Software to import orders, enter order lines and update product BOM

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field preferred

Mack Industries is looking for a Project Administrator to join our Environmental Division. This individual will be responsible for performing supportive duties and responsibilities in a clerical and technical nature to the Division, Project Management and Engineering Teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides assistance to the Project Management and Engineering teams to ensure accurate and prompt project administration

  • Assists in contract management through reading, interpreting and understanding contract plans and specifications

  • Able to evaluate proposals and cost estimates and analyze payment requests as they relate to percentages/dollars/activities associated with the project/contract

Mack Industries is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our team. Working alongside the Quality Control manager to perform and document quality control inspections on all types of precast concrete products. This position will require ACI Field testing Technician Level 1
Certification, basic computer skills and willingness to expand on current abilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs pre-pour inspections on all forms, reinforcements steel and inserts in a timely manner to maintain optimized workflow

  • Looks for opportunities to improve material, processes and products

  • Quality Control Technician tests and inspects material and product at various stages of the production process in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment

  • Identify, document, and report any quality problems to production or QA manager

  • Read and interpret product layouts, engineering blueprints, schematic diagrams, and formula mixes

  • Communicates with batch plant daily regarding mix performance and adjusts as necessary

  • Organizes, prepares documents for data entry

Mack Industries is looking for individuals to add to our Septic Service Division. In this position one would provide annual service to our residential and commercial customers.

 

This is an entry level position; Mack Industries trains all new hires for this position.

Must be 21 years or older

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs maintenance and repair on residential and commercial septic pumps systems, control systems and aeration systems

  • Preforms preventative and predictive maintenance

  • Safe operation of company owned vehicle

  • Reporting all MOV and field safety concerns to management

  • Act as company customer service representative when needed which includes but not limited to sales transactions and communicating customer concerns

  • Willingness to learn septic and pump systems

Experience in septic systems not required, Mack Industries will train.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate pumps and pump tanks

  • Use equipment and resources needed to safely locate, access and pump tanks

  • Troubleshoot issues with septic systems, communicate needs with customers and service

  • Transport wastewater from designated sites to local dump sites

  • Follow company and DOT safety regulations

  • Knowledge in transporting wastewater in accordance with State and Federal regulations

  • Performs onsite customer service tasks such as data input, payment collection and interacting with customers

  • Reports all safety violations and incidents to Management

  • Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment before leaving the facility and/or job sites

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Safe operation of the vehicle on and off road

  • Pick up and deliver cement as directed

  • Responsible for obtaining documentation of cement picked up/delivered (bills of lading)

  • Knowledge and operation of electronic logging devices

  • Daily inspection of vehicle and trailer for safe operation, complete daily inspection report and report all safety defects to shop manager, as per company policy

  • Fuel the vehicle and maintain the correct air pressure in all tires

  • Must be able to climb the ladder to open and close the hatch and to wash truck at least once per week; tanker height from ground to the first rung of ladder 25″, remaining steps spaced approximately 12.5″

  • Connect and disconnect product hose (hose weighs approximately 30 lbs.) from discharge point on the truck to product pipe on the plant (must be done at each discharge approximately 3 times per day)

  • Must be able to sit/drive for up to 11 hours per day. Perform multiple tasks of sustained viewing activity at the rear of truck utilizing side mount mirrors while driving and manipulating controls

  • Standard PPE equipment required to be worn wile loading/unloading (hard hat, safety vest, safety toe shoes)

Position Summary:

Responsible for the mobilization of materials between facilities, job sites, and customers for our Akron and Valley City Locations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Hauling and unloading of ready mix concrete

  • Assembles concrete chute and attaches chute to the back of the truck

  • Controls appropriate levers and switches on truck to discharge concrete according to specifications from the contractor into a wheelbarrow or other conveying container or directly into area to be poured with concrete

  • Complete daily driver’s concrete vehicle inspection report and mileage logs

  • Attendance required according to company attendance policy to ensure crew can operate at normal efficiency level

  • Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes

  • Daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document any maintenance that may be required.
